Immediate Release MPP Scott Concerned About Rejected Ballots in Municipal Election(Lindsay, ON) - Laurie Scott, MPP for Haliburton-Victoria-Brock, indicated today that she has concerns with respect to the number of non-counted ballots from last Monday’s municipal elections. “I, along with many residents, have concerns that thousands of mail-in ballots were rejected in the recent municipal election,” said Scott. “My office has received a number of letters, emails, phone calls and direct contacts on the issue.” Each municipality is responsible for dealing with the process for mail-in ballot voting, in that jurisdiction.
